AMAZING meeting with the Colonel of the Dirandro Police Force....God is unbelievable!! We were treated like long lost family today...just amazing! Please keep them in your prayers...VERY dangerous work!!! They have become very special to us. Lots of hard labor today at the base but things are looking good! So sad to leave tomorrow but we'll be back in a short while.

Just returned from church - spent several hours today on future plans for Off The Trail. Had a nice visit with a dear friend, Angela Head, and continued to work on the base. Please be in prayer for all that God is laying before us...as with Moses...we are trusting and waiting as His plan unfolds....we sure don't want to miss it by thinking it is too big for us to realize!! Today's verse: Colossians 1:11

Met with a missionary today that works with the Asheninka tribes...neat lady!!! Also, spent time at our feeding ministry at Amanacer. Discussed "God-sized" plans for our future....the word...."FAITH" comes to mind...We serve a big God...we have to believe that He is in the business of doing big things...now we wait....

Summer 2009
Wow - what an amazing summer! Sorry we haven't kept things current. We are still trying to get all of our communication organized. We hosted three trips - one evangelism, one children's ministry/maintenance, and one dental/children's ministry/Kadesh evangelism concert!! We had team members from Florida, Pennsylvania, California, and Scotland! It was incredibly busy and wonderful. We had a few security issues early in the summer but everything has worked out now. We successfully returned to two Shipibo Indian Villages, Dos Unidos and Palestina. Had an amazing time ministering there.
My son's band, Kadesh, put on an unbelievable concert in Pucallpa where upwards of 1000 people showed up. The evening was anointed to say the least. It was a beautiful time of ministry.
I'll write in more detail later. For now, we are about to return to Pucallpa on Friday, Aug. 28 for 11 days of administrative work. Keep us in your prayers. Blessings, Kim

June Evangelism Team
Sorry for the late response. We didn't have decent internet access on the last trip and I'm playing catch up.
Our trip was incredible. We set out with plans to evangelize at a Shipibo Village, Dos Unidos, for four days. While traveling to the village, we encountered set-backs that caused us to have to return to Pucallpa and come up with a "plan b". But even in altered plans, God has a way of revealing Himself that leaves no doubt that He is in control. We attended several local church services, preaching and teaching, and even helped another U.S. mission team at a church near the river. I also played the piano for a wedding at Monte Zion Assembly de Dios.
We are working on building a facility at our third ministry site and have plans to add bathrooms at Lugar Feliz II, Amanacer where we feed the kids four days a week.
I'll be returning July 6 with another team to continue construction and work with the kids both in Pucallpa and in a jungle village. Hopefully we will be able to travel to the village safely and on schedule.
Please pray for our health and safety while we attempt to share the Face of Love with the people in Peru. I left my daughter in Peru to work in the ministry over the summer and will reunite with her next week.

Getting ready for summer
Hi! Just a few weeks and we head back to Pucallpa. We have a team of 3 men coming from Union Baptist Church in Pennsylvania for an evangelism campaign. Ariel and I are heading down a few days early to prepare the base, etc. This is the kick-off of three trips between now and August. We are getting really excited! Each time we will be ministering in Pucallpa and in jungle villages.
Tim & Will of Travel the Road are with our translator Joseph in the deep jungle these next two weeks trying to contact a nomad tribe. Remember them in your prayers!!
Kim
